Because of you, our volunteers, new families feel welcome. 2018 was a historic year for Scouting. You are helping our new girl Cub Scouts and families jump into Scouting. From leading new dens to organizing a family’s first camping trip, you are the heart of Scouting.

2018 was a big year to be a 5 year-old! Your kindergarten-aged daughters and sons can now be Lions! A big thanks to our volunteers for welcoming over 80,000 excited 5-years olds into your packs last year!

Philmont Family Adventure Camp launched in 2018. Families can experience the Philmont Scout Ranch like never before! Open to all registered members of the BSA and their families, you will have a chance to participate in all of the incredible activities offered at Philmont and make memories with your family that will last a lifetime.
